Our 4 hour East End Food Tour offers eight authentic tastings (a huge meal!) at a diversity of places like markets, shops, bakeries, pubs and restaurants. You will visit our favourite local haunts, meet the owners and explore historical sites that few tourists have an opportunity to experience.
We’ll redefine what you think of London. With us, you’ll escape the crowds and explore one of London’s best kept secrets like no one else can – through its cuisine. The food tour is for small groups and is led by entertaining local guides that will not only make sure you are well fed but will also educate you with stories that give you insights into the East End’s traditions and culture. You’ll wander the streets to discover ancient Roman burial grounds, Georgian-style mansions built from the French silk trade, hidden synagogues and the most vibrant street art in the world. Good to know
The price includes all 8 unforgettable food tastings, and an always entertaining and personable English speaking guide. You’ll also receive our Food Lovers’ Guide to London: a printed guide full of insider’s tips about where to eat in the British capital, as well as details about each of our tour stops.
Transportation to and from the food tour is not included. Detailed information on how to arrive at the meeting point will be provided at time of booking. At the end of the food tour, our guides are always more than happy to call a taxi for you or point you in the right direction.
WHAT TO BRING
While the terrain is flat, we recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and if rain is forecast, bring waterproofs and/or an umbrella as we will be outside for a lot of the tour. You may also want to bring a bottle of water with you if the weather is warm.
Monday through Saturday at 10 am, 10.45 am and 11.30 am. The food tour takes place in the East End, a 5-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station. Exact meeting address and detailed directions are provided with your booking confirmation. The food tour ends opposite the Shoreditch High Street station and we can point you towards public transport or call you a taxi.
All Sundays and English National Holidays (approximately eight days per year). Please check booking page for available dates. Cancellations made 2 weeks prior to the scheduled tour date are fully refundable. Our food tours run regardless of weather conditions – rain, hail or shine!
